Southerness Beach!

Hello!
After arriving rather late, and unloading all three cars in the dark and cold, I think we all needed to sleep in just a little longer than usual. So we all had a huge breakfast together around 10:00am instead. We're on holiday!

We were so blessed with the large dining room, we were all able to eat together!

It was also a blessing in a way not having the van, because then we could drop shoulders and relax a bit more, not having to go site seeing here there and everywhere, making loads of lunches. It was nice to just stay at 'home' for a while together. But... as it was such an amazing day after all, we went down to the beach. It was right on our door step. Really it was!

We were at the beach for well over two hours having lots of fun exploring, crab catching and enjoying the sun. It really was a fab day for weather. But after a while we headed back to the cottage as we were soon all quite hungry again. 

Since this is quite a large post already, I think I'll do the second half in another.
