Lakeside & IKEA

Hi all,

Today we went all the way to Lakeside, just because we knew it wouldn't be raining inside! But that meant that the day before we had to prepare everything. It's about two and a bit hours from here so we left quite early so that we would have plenty of time when we got there. It was so busy as everyone was getting all there Christmas shopping, and Mum just couldn't cope with it all! She told Talitha " look out for our door  and if you see it grab it quick!" (You probably won't get the joke if you haven't seen the movie 'Monsters Inc.') We saw it while we were on holiday and Talitha just roared laughing! So we got out quick without buying a single thing we escaped to .. that's right. IKEA! It was only a two minute drive away from Lakeside so we thought, why ever not?

We managed to walk round the whole shop collecting up pretty things for our home, and then left, and arrived saftely home around 7:00pm. We got the little ones ready for bed as they were quite tired after the busy day and lots of walking round the different shops. They all had a great time though and always enjoy visiting IKEA.
