Scotland Holiday - The Highland Folk Museum

We all had lots of fun visiting the Highland Folk Museum with the Zeilsdorf family. It was great to see what it was like in an old 1930's school, seeing how people lived then, visiting an old sweet shop and seeing a game of Shinty too...

Part two of this day is on it's way!

Having fun in the park...

This swing was very interesting!

Louis and Zac
This was another interesting musical bell feature
in the park too.

In the Schoolhouse...
I only got 7/10
I never got cursive hand writing...
Rhiannon, however, was one of the only people
to score 10/10!
Rosie also did very well and got a 10/10.
Well done Rosie!
This old fashioned game was quite tricky too...

Liberty got it in the end and Lochlan did well too!
AElwyn with the pushchair
This was one of the old houses.
Jed in the kitchen of the old house. It was quite small!
Me (Charis) Lochlan and Zac
The box bed. This is where all the children would sleep.
 Doesn't look too comfortable!
The Shinty match...

Making our way to the sweet shop...

Tom and Rhiannon with some purchased sweets
they remember from years ago.
Jed liked this hat...
