Scotland Holiday - Good Bye Joe :'(

Joe all set and ready to go.
Miss you bro!
Here are the photos of our good byes to Joe as he will be staying up here with the Zielsdorf Family and will be helping Jason as they work on Laggan Stores. (Joe is doing very well by the way and has settled in quite nicely. Praise the Lord!)

They arrived at 6:00pm and stayed for dinner and we got to spend some more time with their family before they left as we probably won't be seeing them either for quite some time too. They left with Joe and we got ready as we had to leave quite early the following morning. We had another 9 hour drive home so we had to get all of the cases packed, lunch ready and the van & car loaded for the long journey home the next day.

Scotland Holiday - Loch Leven Castle

Even though the weather still hadn't cleared up much we still enjoyed our time at Loch Leven Castle. We had to travel by boat to get to the island where the castle was and that was fun. We got there just at the right time too as we took up two of the boats with all 20 of us in our group so we had to wait for two drivers that were ready at the same time. We were lucky enough to have both ready as soon as we got there. If we hadn't have got there when we did we would have had a 2 hour wait! Isn't God good? One of the guys that drove the boats said that this was also the first day in ages when it hadn't actually rained too.

We got back to the cottage and had to say goodbye to Joe that evening as the Zielsdorf family came to pick him up.

Photos of our goodbyes to Joe will be in the next post,

Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned here in 1567–1568, and forced toabdicate as queen, before escaping with the help of her gaoler's family. In 1588, the Queen's gaoler inherited the title Earl of Morton, and moved away from the castle. It was bought, in 1675, by Sir William Bruce, who used the castle as a focal point in his garden; it was never again used as a residence.

I had a 'Rapunzel Photo Shoot'...
It's strange that my hair looks much

Scotland Holiday - Loch Tummel "Queens View" & Dancing

At Queens view we all had some photos taken with Joe,
as we leave him up here after we return home.
Even though the visitors centre was closed
for improvements, we still had a nice time here.
