Dad's Birthday

We have only three birthdays in May, not as close as the ones in January though. Dad's is the first on the 5th, Liberty's is next on the 14th and Mum's lands on the 23rd. The only months that we don't have birthdays yet are February, April, September and November. And the only people that have a month to themselves are Aaron and Tom. Our first and last born, ( ...so far!)

For Dad's birthday Rhiannon had planned to surprise him with a very sepcial present which a few of you guys helped out wtih! A huge 'THANK YOU' to all those who helped! She sent a message to a few of Dad's friends and asked them to write something that Dad had done that really blessed them. Eventually, after a few weeks or so people wrote in and my job was to print off what they had written, find a photo of their family and place the note in the special folder and hide it safely. 

The BBQ King!

On his birthday we all piled in Mum and Dad's bedroom with all the presents and one by one the little guys handed him a present. Last of all was the folder. He loved it! That afternoon we had a BBQ for dinner and the weather was perfect for it! I think every year since 2009 when we bought him a gas BBQ (which he had always wanted) we've had a BBQ on his birthday.One of his favourite things is to cook the food for everyone...and eat it of course.
