Jed, and liberty signed up for a singing audition. Jed had written and composed his own songs. Liberty did a cover of Aretha Franklin's Natural woman, and Time after Time by Margaret Whiting.
They had a lot of (nervous) fun and were glad they entered for the experience, but they were also quite relieved in the end that they didn't get picked for the finals.
