Cyprus Holiday Part 2

Our God is an Awesome God!

Mum and Dad weren't sure if everyone would enjoy a boat trip at first but it actually turned out to be one of our favourite days! We all enjoyed it so much, the food was so lovely and being able to jump in the ocean was amazing too.

Liberty: "Oooh, I felt like a millionaire! It was a really nice experience. The food was fantastic and swimming in the ocean was spectacular! The water was so clear. I'm not actually a fan of going on boats but this one was actually worth it."

Berea: "I felt a little bit sick twice but swimming in the sea made me feel a little bit better. I really quite liked it. It was a nice day!" :)

Nathanael: "It was nice and I felt very sea sick but going into the ocean made me feel better. I enjoyed walking around the yacht and seeing where the captain was. It was hard to walk and keep your balance at times. The bar was fancy!" ;-)

Aaron: "It was so good, it was just that I felt a little bit sick. Swimming was fun but the water was salty! Real salty. I had fun time though."

Zac: "The food was great, the chicken really good, and so much for everyone. I really did enjoy it. The boat at times was a little more choppy than I expected and I did get a little sunburnt too. Swimming was fun especially when I did a back flip off the boat into the ocean. I really liked the live music too."

Magdalene: "I was glad that we didn't go on the pirate-looking ship. It had face painting, which I don't like, and other things. I was hoping that Daddy would pick the yacht. It was absolutely lovely and I'm glad that we went on that particular boat. We got to rest and get free drinks which was lovely. When we went swimming Liberty and I were able to go kayaking! That was great fun."

Talitha: "I liked how we were all together and it was very special because I like being at sea. It was definitely a one off occasion and I was glad that we were able to do it. The sea was very blue and I liked being gently swayed by the waves. As I had braces I was worried that there wasn't any non-fizzy drinks but they had lots to choose from and I was happy with that! I was very glad that Mum and Dad bought us hats, they came in very handy. It was really hot and I liked the sunshine."

Ike: "I've often wanted to have the experience of a yacht type boat. This one was particularly nice due to the fact that we could all experience it together! The area the boat covered was really nice as I've only seen areas like that from pictures so it was nice to see it in person. The food was nice and there was more than enough to go around although I must say I'm not the greatest fan of fetta cheese and olives! Swimming off the boat was a lot of fun but I shall remember to use a stronger sun cream next time!"
We visited this castle later in the week. Future post to come!

Charis: "I really enjoyed this day especially as it was on my bucket list to spend the day out at sea relaxing on a lovely yacht in the hot sun! I was so blessed! I loved the food and music and staring out at the beautiful, blue sea. It was stunning! God is good!"

Jim: "It was quite choppy when we first set out especially for me because I don't like boats that much or being at sea. But once we had got away from the harbour it was beautiful and very relaxing. I enjoyed the singer, I thought he was brilliant. And swimming in the ocean was a lovely experience."

Mum: "I really enjoyed this day. The yacht was gorgeous and very luxurious. The singers were perfect for the surroundings. The scenery was breathtaking and I really enjoyed listening to the tour guides information on the history and local surroundings. Once the little ones had got past their initial sea-sick feeling we were all able to rest on the loungers and some of them fell asleep on me. It was a lovely relaxing day. Great seeing everybody having so much fun."

Dad: "This was such good value for a luxury yacht - and to find out that the food and the open all day bar  was all included was an extra bonus that we had not accounted for. Awesome day out and potentially one of those once in a lifetime experiences."
Just leaving the hotel to get the bus down to the harbour for our boat trip!
Mum and Dad bought us girls these lovely hats while we were here. It was so hot and sunny we really appreciated them!

Nathanael and Aaron in matching clothes. So cute!
And of course Berea and Magdalene with matching dresses too!

The colour of the water was stunning!

Magdalene enjoys the sunshine. We needed plenty of sun-cream! Thankfully nobody got burned too badly!

Aaron keeps cool in the shade! Haha!
Mum and Aaron had fun playing spying for pirates.

The boat stopped halfway in a more shallow area for us to swim in the sea. That was so fun!

We had delicious cold drinks all day to keep us cool. We weren't
expecting that but it was a lovely surprise!
Plus a really yummy meal too. We had pasta, salad, potatoes,
seasoned chicken and freshly made bread.
On the open top bus back to the hotel after a lovely day at sea.
