We first met Laurie at a Bible Conference last year. She had been an aupair to a family in France and had come all the way to England with them. She came to stay with us later on that summer...see previous post 'Laurie Comes to Stay.' Joe started corresponding with her Dad and he gave his approval for them to write to each other. Love blossomed very quickly for them and after many hours on Skype Joe decided to fly to Texas and propose to Laurie on the 13th May...She said YES! Joe and Laurie are officially engaged and visa situation willing will be married as soon as possible. Our love and prayers are with you both.
