The new Mr. & Mrs. Connor Silas Woods.

We made a quick decision to all meet up in the woodlands and prepared a wedding in 48 hours!!

What amazing weather we were blessed with on this special day!

At home getting ready to leave for the park.

 The Groom and Best Man
We had all the clothing we needed, as the wedding was going to be April 11th.

Arrived at the park woodlands

Prayers for the happy couple

Connor and his Best man, Jed.

Charis's beautiful floral designed dress, complimented the surroundings perfectly.

Originally we had five bridesmaids in the navy blue dresses and matching boots,
but with restrictions, we were unable to have them.

We had the whole place to ourselves and didn't see another person the entire time we were there.
A miracle in itself really.

We didn't get the fresh bouquets this time.

At least Charis gets to keep all her flowers and beautiful floral headdress.

Everyone had matching picnic hampers of fancy things and sparkling drinks.

A very quick dash to the shops to fill these baskets we'd bought the day before.

It was fun filling them up with lovely things for each family.

Jim very kindly drove around buying up picnic blankets, literally hours before the wedding.

Cupcakes toppers had the original printed date of April 11th 2020

But they tasted so good it didn't really matter.

Back home for the reception.

Not quite what anyone expected! But perfect, for the day.

Fabulous story behind the burgandy suit Connor, God is so good!!

Charis changed into her evening dress and tiara for dancing.

It was sad that all our families couldn't join in the celebrations. Especially for Connor and his family.
Hopefully we can all get together again soon.

Saying farewell after a wonderful day.

Their Honeymoon was cancelled.
So they are staying at their home for now.

Congratulations Charis & Connor.

It was such a blessing enjoying a fairytale woodland wedding. It was not quite what anyone had planned for, and it actually worked out even better for you both. You originally wanted to get married in the woods! Your prayers were answered. To see you both so happy on the day it really didn't matter that we all couldn't be there, and was all well worth it in the end. Thankfully all our bookings and venues and total costs have been fully refunded.
God is so good.
