Jasper's 1st Birthday

It was really nice to get together at Jed and Rosie's house to celebrate Jasper's first birthday! (The first attempt got cancelled because of the snow!) They had a Winnie the Pooh themed party for him and it was so lovely. They'd put so much thought into the food and decorations and labelled the food to go with the theme, Piglets in Blankets, Pooh Bears, Rabbit's Vegetable Patch...etc. It was a really fun day!

Library and Banana Splits

One of our favourite things is a visit to the library, we still all love to go. We also have a strange tradition in our family of having a banana split when we are learning to read! This could be the last one we make as Aaron is the youngest, and last to learn to read!  He is doing brilliantly and enjoys reading now.

Have a go at Straw Curling.

Magdalene's hair does have a natural curl in it, but after showers on this night we put straws in it to really curl it up. Now it looks so much shorter than Berea's which is much harder to curl, as it is so silky and straight.
