Derbyshire Holiday part 4
Derwent Dams was a family favourite place to go when we lived further North. Having moved area since, some of the younger guys had never been here before.
Our grandparents still have black and white holiday photos of their visits here when they used to live in Sheffield. They lived here when they were first married in 1956, as our Granddad used to play professional football for Sheffield Wednesday football club. |

It is still a favourite! The place hasn't lost it's beauty at all.

There used to be an entire village under all this water many years ago. |

Jim, thought it was all very interesting as the place was used in the film the Dam-Busters. |

Aaron, Berea, Magdalene, Nathanael, Talitha, Jim, Liberty, Charis, Zac, Ike, and Mum. A great day out to finish our week away. Thanks Mum and Dad for a lovely holiday. |
Derbyshire Holiday part 3
This day out was one of our favourite days!
The caverns were really good and very interesting. We were able to walk under ground further than we imagined and the caves we bigger than we thought they would be - Berea.
The woodland park and gift shops here were lovely too.

All of us went to the top of this tower. The views were amazing. |

Berea, thinks these forget-me-nots, smell like spaghetti! ;) |
Derbyshire Holiday part 2
We had lovely weather so we took a huge picnic and went off exploring the area. We went to a place called Solomon's Temple. It was a really nice place to walk around and see the views from the top.

There were a lot of steps, but it was worth it. |
