A Dayout with Rosie

The house

A few weeks ago we had a friend, Rosie, staying with us and while they were here we went to a Statley Home and the Beach later on. It was a really lovely day and we all had lots of fun. It's such a blessing to be able to visit so many different places. National Trust days-out (if you haven't noticed already) have become a family favourite all year round!

Talitha turns 9 and Jed's 18th

August is another busy month birthday wise. This year Talitha turned 9 on the 7th, Jed had his 18th birthday on the 14th, so they're only on week apart, and then our Grandad (from Mum's side) turns 79 later on in the month and then after that our, Aunt (one of Dad's sisters) has her birthday in August too! To see Talitha's cake see this post from Jacob and Jamie!

Enjoy the photos below!

Happy Birthday Talitha!

I don't know why or how but somehow it has become a tradition
of sorts to get a Chocolate Toblerone on your birthday!

'History Alive!' Kelmarsh 2013

The Kelmarsh Festival of History was great! We all had such a good weekend meeting up with friends and enjoying all of the displays! Joe also did very well with his trading and was so pleased. We took too many photos again and I didn't know what ones to choose so there won't be many this time.

The first evening is always the hardest with setting up the caravan and the awning, but we managed like a well oiled machine, and even found time to cook our friends a BBQ. Thank you Mark for bringing your speciality of Jamiacan Jerk Chicken, it's delicious!

The Joust was great!
The Falconry was also very good,
