Recent-ish baking

Hi guys,

Here are some photos of our recent baking that we've done.
Try not to eat your computer!

Here is my yummy, scrummy, banana,
toffee cake!

I was quite pleased with it and everyone
else seemed to enjoy it too!

Mum's digestive biscuit base ice-cream dessert top with melted choc sauce.

Then Mum made a 15 minute dinner with a 15 minute dessert! Aren't Mum's amazing?

And we have JED's wonderful Italian dish...

                                   Cannelloni!

We like red grape juice mixed with fizzy water or
lemonade to drink with Italian meals. Try it out sometime!

And JED made scrummy orange and chocolate mousses!

Rhiannon made a really good carrot cake...

Little Nat made some flapjacks with me, Mum and Magdalene, and Berea. Then some cornflake cakes.

And a little while later I made a carrot cake. I admit it wasn't as good and Rhiannon's, but it was still very yummy all the same.If the cake wasn't good the icing was.

JED made some pancakes.

I then made some Tangy Lemon Squares.
I had never made these before and when I started it was a bit of a flop, as the base was pastry which I didn't know it was until I started, and I haven't really made a proper pastry before! I was determined to finish it though. It took 4 1/2 hours to make, so we had it for dessert the following day and boy was it worth it. Even Mum liked it and she doesn't like lemon desserts or anything with lemon in it. She says that it tastes like what some cleaners (washing up liquid, window cleaner, anti-bacterial wipes, etc.) smell like! But even she said that it was really good. I was happy as you can imagine! Photos will have to be in another post I'm afraid!

Freezing Brotherhood

Here is the day when we filmed our latest music video which will be out very soon so stay tuned on YouTube and on here for that!

It was very cold, and filming it was kind of difficult to do, but then again very easy because everywhere you looked was a great shot with the sun shining on the snow.  Keeping the camera steady for the panning shots was a little tricky too, as the snow was deep-ish and I was trying to be careful where I was treading as I didn't want my foot prints to be shown when I went back to get a shot that was further away too!
Ike being super cool!

Enjoy the piccies and the future video !
Some of our boots that were drying out
from playing in the snow just the other day!

The little guys made a ramp out of the
snow and enjoyed sledging  down it

I was quite pleased with this photo of the walnut tree and Nat, was pleased that he found an Icicle!
Little Abe enjoying the scenery.

Dad wiping the snow off of the cars!

Talitha poses

Preparing to film the boys
JED in stage wear!

You want me to do this without gloves!

Enjoy the video coming soon.

JLT News: "Weather Update"

22.01.13 (this is the date we made this video)

Hello!

This isn't much of a weather 'update', but we thought you'd like to see this video we made anyway. The snow has gone now, although it is still very cold and just last week we ran out of oil for the few days in between the oil lorry coming and running out,so we were a little bit cold for a awhile. It's nice and cozy again now thankfully.

We've had about 4-6 inches of snow all together this winter, so we have all had a bit of fun having snowball fights, sledging as best as we can (there are no hills in Norfolk anywhere!) and making snowmen.

But here's the 'update'...

Me, JIM, Liberty, and Talitha made a little something for you all to enjoy. It was quite fun to make, but very cold! Me and Bonnie did the first few bits in the afternoon before it got too dark and then JIM and Talitha's parts in the 'studio' later on that evening. We had a few outtakes in the process! I filmed and directed it, and Joe helped out with the editing. Thanks Joe

Hope you liked watching it!

Stay warm for the rest of this winter!
